We started a new year at KiDs Beach Club at Hurst Hills Elementary School in their gymnasium. The club meets after school to give kids a “Jesus experience” through fun activities and Bible lessons that communicate the gospel and teach character development. Thirty-two kids showed up for the first meeting and were led by six caring adults for a great afternoon of Beach Club activities. Many kids were surprised that it ended so soon and look forward to many more Thursdays of club meetings. Our Club staff enjoyed “hanging out” with kids from previous years and meeting many new faces. We look forward to connecting with these kids and be a positive influence for them this school year.
